We offer accredited training to colleagues who wish to develop themselves professionally and grow their skillsets.What Will The Role Involve?As Our Highways Project Manager you will undertake and manage Highways framework and stand-alone projects for local authority and private development sectors, ensuring delivery and achievement of outcomes in accordance with the requirements, standards and targets set out by the client. You will work in collaboration with clients, Bethell staff, operatives, sub-contractors, and other professionals, whilst taking responsibility for all aspects of health and safety, quality and environmental assurance, contract administration, cost control, profit & loss responsibility, planning, communication, and people management.You will be responsible for the management of civil engineering and highways operatives and subcontractors to maximise efficiencies and drive production, carrying out appraisals when required. In this role, you will be expected to we always construct a quality product and to specification, giving our customers value for money to ensure we receive repeat business.Being the person of authority in your Project Manager role, you will need to have an understanding of where each scheme is up to by monitoring ELFs and working closely with the commercial department, ensuring CVRs are accurate, and all costs are recorded. You will be responsible for the accurate ordering of materials to avoid wastage and conduct regular stock checks to avoid duplication ordering and clearing of all surplus materials to stock.What Key Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?Minimum 5 years’ experience working within the Civil Engineering industry, preferably within highways.HNC/HND/Degree qualification in construction-related studiesMinimum Gold Card CSCS accreditation or CITB SMSTS Site Manager Safety Training SchemeNRSWA Streetworks SupervisorFull clean driving licenceFirst Aid Training 3 DayIf you feel this opportunity is suitable and you match the skillset required, then please apply online and complete the application process.
