Project Manager – Construction - Frame & Facades

Main Contractor – £200m Residential Scheme

Permanent: Up to £75,000 + Package

Based in Wembley

We are currently searching for a Project Manager who specialises in RC Frame and Façade Packages. This position will be working with one of the UK’s leading residential main contractors on a brand new scheme which is currently at piling stage. When completed his project will bring over 700 new homes to the area along with various public amenities.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the £28m Façade package and £24m RC Frame package with support from a Senior Engineer and another Project Manager. The façade package is all prefabricated so this role will not only oversee the operational management of the package but the Quality Management from the factory. This will therefor require occasional trips to the factory which is based in Northeast England.

This will also be a heavily client-facing role and would see the successful candidate chairing weekly progress meetings with the client.

Required:

  • Previous experience working for a main contractor on large (£50m+) residential/commercial schemes.
  • Strong background overseeing RC frame and façade packages.
  • Experience managing the interface between the contractor and the client in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work alongside the production, operations and design teams to ensure the smooth delivery of the packages.
  • Strong IT skills with knowledge of BIM.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential with Temporary Works being beneficial.
