About the Role:
To deliver our ambitious Education Strategy, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager (24 months fixed-term) to join our growing team within the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Performance.

Your primary responsibility is the overall planning, management and monitoring of the strategic education programme of projects and initiatives to achieve our strategic objectives and KPIs within the Education Strategy and the Access and Participation Plan. You will work closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), Director of Strategic Planning and Performance and other senior colleagues across the University to ensure appropriate planning, stakeholder, risk and issues management are in place to achieve and maximise the delivery of the programme’s benefits and impact.

You will require strong people and communication skills with the ability to engage, persuade, influence and enthuse others to keep colleagues focused and engaged. In this role, it is vital to gain the trust and credibility of colleagues across departments, faculties and professional services to support them in delivering and adopting the necessary changes.

With a degree or relevant professional degree level qualification plus demonstrable professional experience for the role and project management qualification, you will have proven experience in managing and delivering complex projects or programmes. The successful applicant will be based at either our Cambridge or Chelmsford campus with the option of remote working and occasional travel to our main campuses.
