Join our Development Delivery team as a Project Manager

We deliver new-build homes to the highest quality across London and neighbouring counties for our residents and leaseholders aiming for the greatest customer satisfaction. This demands strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers, other teams and external service providers. The Delivery team supervises the delivery of new homes ensuring contractors build according to the timeframe, cost, quality and specifications. We work on Section 106, Land led, joint Ventures and Regeneration projects.

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Project Manager in London. Your responsibilities will include:

• Continuous review and assessment of schemes to ensure they are meeting the organisation’s objectives and maximum value for money is always achieved.
• In conjunction with the Pre-Construction and Procurement Team, ensure consultants and contractors are properly selected from our chosen frameworks and formally appointed. Ensure
• Project manage the delivery of S106 and land led new build and refurbishment projects
• Work in conjunction with Regeneration, New Business and Join Venture colleagues to deliver the affordable packages of these schemes.
• Make regular visits to each project on site. Monitor progress, quality and general performance of the contractor and consultants in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
• Attend snagging and handover inspections and ensure that all documentation required is obtained from the project team and passed to relevant internal client departments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Development Department and lead in one specialist area of innovation.

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and is friendly and positive. The successful candidate will:

• Development Housing Sector experience, new build and refurbishment, including a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Construction and contract experience appropriate to the Housing Sector.
• Technical knowledge of the construction and development environment including development appraisal, construction technology, planning.
• Ability to produce performance indicators and reports that measure business activities for senior executives.
• Good level of IT skills and literacy.
• Good level of appraisal and cashflow reporting knowledge (Use of financial appraisal tools) – ideally Sequel and Optimix.
