Data & Analytics Technical Project Manager needed by this large, professional services business. This is a new role to manage the on-going expansion and deployment of their Enterprise Data Platform, responsible for delivering their companywide analytics solutions including a mix of established business intelligence technologies, powered visual analytics, dashboards, reporting and advanced analytics.

Working closely with their existing Data team of Data Analysts, Architects and Developers as well as Infrastructure specialists the Project Manager will be fully involved end to end from requirement gathering to product delivery.

The right Project Manager will be experienced in the management of large, complex data and analytics projects including experience of all aspects of designing and building data analytics platforms and solutions as well as a deep understanding of the underlying infrastructure, in both on premise and cloud environments.

In terms of background, a good mix of the following is needed:

  • Proven track record of executing full life cycle data warehouse and business intelligence/analytics implementations (ideally 10+ years’ experience)
  • Expertise in Database Design and Development in Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Warehouse, MS SQL Server and be proficient in creating highly flexible Database Architecture
  • A deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes and data modelling
  • Experience working on all SDLC business processes: requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodology
  • Experience managing third-party external business partners and their technical teams in the support & implementation of BI and analytics solutions

Any experience of PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, QlikSense, Alteryx, R or Python would be a real advantage as would knowledge of Cloud Platforms, Azure but also AWS & GCP and terraform, CI/CD.
