Your role

You will be responsible for initiating projects, completing feasibility assessments for projects, working out budgets, teams, resources and dependencies to enable the business to make decisions on potential projects

Your Duties & responsibilities*

You will gain agreement, usually from senior management/ project sponsor, for the project brief and quality specification

*
You will create and manage project plans this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks in accordance with the needs of your project sponsor. Ability to use software to help manage and communicate tasks / plans and provide progress updates

*
You will select, lead and motivate your project team from both within the company and outside (consultants / contractors)

*
You will manage the project - which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget

*
You will carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track the progress of the project

*
You will identify and manage risks and project dependencies to ensure delivery is on time and to the requisite standards

*
You will implement any necessary changes throughout the process using approved change control procedure

*
You will solve problems and be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty

*
You will report regularly to management and the project sponsor

*
You will identify and manage project dependencies

*
You will close the project - including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project

*
You will commit to participate in any extended hours or Bank Holidays rotas

*
You will attend such study days and up-dating courses as are deemed necessary for the development of the unit and yourself

You will undertake any other duties as required by your Manager

Job Type: Contract

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
