Salary: £50k

Job Purpose
- To ensure that an AML model line complies with all relevant certification legislation in current and new markets.
- To obtain and maintain homologation allowing sales and registration in current and new markets.
- The ability to build rapport, trust and respectful relationships across multiple departments, to ensure regulatory requirements are met and challenges are understood in an open way.
- Lead compliance activity procedure, planning and execution, with cost effective delivery in accordance with product market homologation plans.
- Lead compliance demonstration activities and coordinate activities involving the regulatory authorities, certification test facilities and AML system owners.
- Lead technical representation, presentation and negotiation with regulatory authorities, government agencies and test facilities.
- Provide regulatory guidance and interpretation for product design compliance and strategic product planning.
- Compilation and maintenance of compliance data and the creation of homologation documentation and procedures.
- Monitor product changes and conduct compliance impact assessments of changes.
- Support manufacturing and quality in conformity of production activities including facility audits
- Experience in a position demonstrating vehicle safety compliance or territory homologation.
- Experience in a position demonstrating vehicle powertrain compliance or territory homologation.
- Technical experience in the automotive industry, or
- Experience dealing with legislation and regulatory authorities, or
- Experience with automobile cybersecurity, or
- Experience with Global Safety regulations, or
- Experience with autonomous vehicle technology
- Logical and analytical thinking with the ability to explain and/or simplify complex technical information and compliance strategies.
- The ability to influence people in decisions
- Team player becoming a role model for best practice in the organisation
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and their implementation
- Fully fluent in spoken and written English and confident communicator with the ability to clearly and accurately present information to all levels of the company.
- Competent user of MS Office applications and the ability to learn and operate company specific IT systems.
- Effective and thorough planning, co-ordination and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving license
