Engenda Group are looking for a Project Engineer to join our project management team on a contract basis. You’ll assist our successful Project Management team at Engenda EPC in supporting a suite of sustainability projects across mostly within the chemical industry.

We are a multi-disciplined outsourced engineering services business, working in the Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Process disciplines. We work with a range of blue-ship global operators, as well as a variety of speciality chemical plant operators with a single site location.

As part of your role as Project Engineer, you will:

  • Deliver value and safety driven project engineering
  • Perform evaluation and calculations to assess equipment
  • Plan resources and schedule critical projects
  • Drive improvements in safety, quality, cost and time
  • Maintain documentation for projects such as tenders, equipment drawings, P&IDs and plots
  • Manage projects from concept through to execution
  • Working with internal stakeholders such as production and maintenance, while coordinating external contractors for the safe delivery of services
  • Troubleshoot problems and develop permanent solutions to recurring issues
  • Participate in OPEX, Lean and Six Sigma activities for continuous improvement.

A suitable candidate will have a Mechanical or Process Engineering Degree, hold chartership (or working towards), and have experience working in chemical, pharmaceutical or similar hazard manufacturing environments. You will have previously managed full life cycle multi discipline projects ranging from £500k to £20 Million.
