My client is a business that supplies own brand modular car parks to airports, hospitals, municipalities, retail parks, car dealerships and private corporations across Europe.

The business has been established for over thirty years and is a leading provider of foundation-less semi-permanent, fully demountable car parking decks.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled Project Engineer to join our team based in Stevenage, UK.

This role presents a great opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career in engineering. The ideal candidate will have project-based experience from a civil engineering background, be confident communicating with customers and suppliers, and be highly organized in their work ethic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and evaluate information from drawings, schedules and specification;
• Provide supervision and control of all activities for assigned projects;
• Co-ordinate with customers and sub-contractors to schedule project activities;
• To produce and maintain project records and perform the works in accordance with company procedures;
• Other duties as required

Job requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills in English and Italian or Romanian or Spanish (mandatory);
• Accuracy with excellent attention to detail;
• Be able to take ownership of own workload;
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Windows
• Operating System, Drawing packages such as AutoCAD, Microsoft
• Office programs (e.g. Excel, Word & Outlook);
• Have good time management skills;
• Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
• Ability to work under pressure
• You have the right to work in the UK (mandatory).

Education:

• Engineering education or qualification desirable.
• Ability to relocate:-Stevenage, UK (preferred) or nearby

Other:

• Full clean Driving Licence will be a plus
• Experienced working on construction sites in Italy will be a plus
