Job description We are recruiting for Project Engineers to work with one of our prestigious Manufacturing clients based in South Yorkshire. Days required to work We offer flexible hours of work: Monday - Friday Total: Full Time Rate of pay - Competitive Your main responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):-Ensure projects are led and fulfilled from order to full production.
  • Main point of contact for designated blue-chip customers, ensuring liaisons to manage customer requirements and expectations including variations from original order.
  • Reviewing customer order requirements against quotation.
  • Breaking down engineering drawings to produce a bill of materials.
  • Creating 2D DXF cutting files for use in our thermal cutting processes.
  • Inputting manufacturing information into our operating system to generate route cards.
  • Generating process manufacturing drawings.
  • Raising purchase order requisitions and expediting suppliers.
  • Liaising with internal departments and customers to resolve queries and expedite progress.
  • Provide technically sound engineering solutions to achieve effective results and to resolve any potential problems or issues.
  • Prepare accurate timelines for all aspect of each project.
  • Develop a commercial awareness of contracts handled.
  • To progress the manufacture of all parts required to schedule.
  • Achieve On Time in Full requirements.
  • Involvement in quotation and design process. Requirements of the candidate:
  • Engineering qualification or good engineering background
  • Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD and ERP manufacturing systems
