The Opportunity
NPI Contract Project Engineer
Dechra Skipton is investing! We need a Contract Project Engineer with extensive experience in pharmaceutical filling and packing equipment to work with our team and use their knowledge, to define detail requirements and work with suppliers to find the potential solutions. Then progress commissioning, qualification and optimisation of the equipment.
The individual would have a proven record of pharmaceutical filling and packing equipment installation and support
Main ResponsibilitiesSo, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Combine requirements from safety, quality, production, technical, engineering and supply to generate a clear user requirement for the equipment
- Based on requirements and experience, generate a list of possible options with pro and cons
- Develop and implement project plan to meet business deliverables
- Support purchase of the agreed equipment
- Lead the installation, qualifiaction and commissioning of the equipment
- Support operations teams in optimisation of the equipment

- Proven record of in depth expertise and experience in a installation of packing equipment including project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to lead individual projects while co-ordinating with all stakeholders
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Production or support, with a proven experience in Technical Transfer of Pharmaceutical products and production is desirable but not essential based on the production skills demonstrated with evidence
- Knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, process development and validation is desirable
- An understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements is desirable
