Our client is currently looking to recruit the very best talent and have a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Coordintaor to join our expanding team.

The successful candidate will be working on our Fibre Cities contract.

This role would suit someone who has previous field-based Telecoms experience or possess Civils and Cabling installation knowledge. This role would suit someone who is looking to make the transition from working in the field to being based in the office. Successful candidates will have previous experience in managing projects from start to end.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the works planner in delivery of program commitments.
  • Using Client based planning tool to map Network development
  • Create A55 drawings for Client approval, documenting changes to the Openreach network
  • Liaising with customers and clients to provide updates on delivery commitments
  • Uploading new jobs to the system, contacting customers to arrange access to being able to carry out the work.
  • Accountable for the day to day management of the engineering resource to ensure time is utilised effectively, using effective route planning.
  • Maintaining contact with the field operation throughout the day and jeopardy managing the work in real time.
  • Developing relationships with internal and external management and engineering teams.
  • To ensure the accurate completion of all documentation required to report field service performance.
  • Providing relevant reports and updates as requested.
  • Ensuring all work is accounted for and updates are received by the end of the day.

You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:

  • The ability to multitask, to a high standard with exceptional attention to detail
  • Logical and methodical.
  • Team player with the ability to work alone.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft IT packages (Word / Excel / Email etc.)
  • Proven track record of good organisational skills, including managing workload effectively
  • Flexible with working hours.
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Excellent geographical knowledge.
