To support the development and increasing demand for Project Management across the organisation, we have created a new role for a Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team on a full time, permanent basis.

Join us as a Project Coordinator and you’ll enjoy a diverse, high profile position working alongside an established team of Project Managers, where you’ll gain exposure to all areas of the business while playing a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of projects.

As the Project Coordinator your responsibilities will involve:

  • Maintaining and evolving project governance documentation congruent with business aspirations
  • Maintaining a portfolio level project plan and RAID log
  • and supporting the completion of project level logs and plans to ensure project objectives are owned and delivered by project leads
  • Capacity planning and resource tracking across a portfolio of projects
  • Evolving the current reporting capability to provide senior stakeholders with a visual representation of project plans and associated governance measures to facilitate progress evaluation and decision making
  • Overseeing project closure activities and maintaining a centralised ‘lessons learnt’ log as a future reference source to effect the continual improvement of the Project Management Office capability

As the Project Coordinator your skills and experience will include:

  • Previous experience in a project coordination or project support role is essential
  • Strong user of MS Office, including advanced skills in Microsoft Project with the ability to create and manage multiple projects
  • Industry recognised professional Project, Programme Office or Portfolio Management qualifications/membership is desirable however equivalent experience will also be considered
  • A good understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • The ability to develop standards and processes to improve business efficiencies
  • Previous success in resource planning and forecasting
  • Creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies (RAID)

You are a clear and confident communicator, who delivers on commitments and enjoys coaching colleagues throughout the project plan and delivery process.

Working hours: 8.30 - 16.30 Monday - Thursday and 8.30 - 15.45 Fridays

Salary: Circa £31,00 dependent on skills/experience plus competitive benefits package, including a 10% non-contributory pension scheme, sick pay, annual leave increasing with length of service, TechScheme Vouchers, plus more!

Location: Thatcham, Berkshire. Remote working during UK lockdown.
