The client

They are a family-run business, which has been going for over 9 years now. The company is involved in conservatory roof paneling with sites in Ringwood and in the Midlands.

The Job

To support a Geographic area and 1 Installation Manager in the effective scheduling, delivery and servicing of our conservatory roof installations

Job expectations

1. Communicating with customers to advise on the progress of their roof installation.

a) Telephoning to advise of the expected delivery date.

b) Telephoning to book in the installation date

c) Pre-installation check-up phone call

d) Post-installation customer care calls

2. To manage the schedules of approximately 6 to 8 Installation teams including New

Installations, Outstanding Work and Remedial visits

a) Liaising with each Installation Team to ensure receipt of the relevant end-of-day paperwork.

3. To take inbound customer service queries regarding leaks and problems with their installation

a) To follow our Customer Complaint procedure

b) To ensure customers receive a holding letter and resolution letter within permitted time frames.

c) Record and raise a Service Call on the system.

d) Liaise with the Installation Manager to identify the best course of action.

e) Place orders for any parts required for the service visit.

f) Book the service visit.

g) Liaise with Warehouse to check when the parts have arrived.

4. Weekly meetings with the Planning Manager

5. Reporting activities Daily & Weekly on the status of each Installation and Service

call

a) Reporting ‘who’s at fault’ to the relevant manager when things don’t go as planned.
