Summary

This is a project and general administration role based in our offices in Cannock Staffordshire and operates primarily during normal office hours. The role is permanent and full time - usual workdays are Monday to Friday however applications from candidates requiring flexible working arrangements will be considered.

Moorcroft are Electrotechnical Control, Automation and Calibration specialists.

We offer switchgear, control panel design, assembly, installation, maintenance and system certification across industrial and commercial systems. We work across industry and commercial sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Healthcare, Food and Beverage, Buildings and Construction. Our engineers have a breadth of expertise and can support clients with design, installation, certification and maintenance across the major system manufacturers.

Principle Duties

  • Administer and manage electrical project programme
  • Plan and organise resources, materials and equipment
  • Maintain and update project records
  • Verify and process financial records
  • Communicate effectively with engineering teams
  • Agree program of works and keep customers updated
  • Provide reports and follow quality process and procedures

Purpose of the role

The primary purpose of the role is to provide efficient organisation and planning of commercial and industrial electrical projects. The work requires high levels of organisation and efficiency across a disparate range of duties and positive communication skills to build strong customer relationships. The output from the work will ensure the resources, materials and equipment are allocated accurately to the correct site in accordance with client work programmes.

Person specification:

  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Competent using MS Office and office management software.
  • Careful and detailed approach.
  • Able to summarise and report progress.
  • Enjoys working in fast paced environment.

The person will be organised, reliable and maintain a professional outlook. They will demonstrate confident communication skills and an ethos in taking ownership of work programmes.

Qualifications/skills/Experience:

  • General education Maths, English and Sciences.
  • General Administration or Project Experience
  • Must hold (or eligible to hold) UK work permit
  • IT and MS Office Skills

We may also consider candidates who can demonstrate the base skills required.
