The Programme Manager will have responsibility for the Engineering curriculum. They will also be involved in the continuous development of its provision within the school of Engineering, ensuring that agreed targets are met, quality standards are at the forefront of delivery and that the overall learner experience is excellent.
They are required to support the Head of School in all areas including, but not limited to, recruitment, timetabling, behaviour management and implementation of the cover plan. The Programme Manager will be required to teach a specified number of hours on a range of programmes, act as course coordinator for designated groups within the specified area and conduct the appraisal/check ins of designated staff.
You will hold an appropriate Degree or significant industry experience in a relevant subject area. A Level 5 teaching qualification or working towards is essential as is significant experience of co-ordinating programmes.
