Our client is looking for a Programme Manager and a Senior Project Manager experienced in delivering Cloud Transformation to work on a 10+yr contract worth £5+bn which is intended to transform the MOD Supply Chain through digital transformation.

The role can be delivered remotely with occasional travel to locations in the South West

To take up this position you must have current SC clearance and willing to work on an Inside IR35 assignment.

Although the initial contract is for 3 months the work is expected to last comfortably beyond 6+ months

Rate is expected to be in the region of £650-750 a day to umbrella company.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside a expert team of defence and technology specialists as well as other sub-contractors to deliver this high profile transformation.

Further information is limited at this stage due to the secure nature of the project but more information will be made available at interview.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accountable for leading the successful delivery of all key deliverables and dependencies to ensure IT transformation achieves it plan.
  • Accountable for working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectation alignments on all fronts leading to smooth delivery.
  • Accountable for ensuring effective governance has been set up to manage deliverables to time/cost/quality.
  • Accountable for allocated programme budget: ensuring that the programme has a realistic, accurate budget which is effectively tracked throughout the lifecycle of the programme.
  • Hold senior stakeholders to account as to their responsibility to the programme and timely and effective decision making.
  • Accountable for planning internal resources required at each stage of the programme. Ensuring there is a forward looking view that allows for sufficient lead time to attain key resources.

Necessary Experience
  • Evidence of delivering Cloud Transformation in similar roles previously
  • Current active SC Clearance
