Executive Network Group are exclusively engaged with an Energy & Utilities client to hire an Asset Investment Programme Manager to lead a team of 15-20 (3 direct reports) within the office of the COO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing development & Maintenance of the organisation’s Network Asset Management Plan and supporting the accreditation of ISO55001.

Before applying for this position, please ensure you meet ALL of the following essential requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the Energy/Utilities sector
  • Strong understanding and experience of Asset Management & Investment
  • Experience leading a team and providing strategic direction within Asset Management
  • Chartered Engineer status is strongly preferred, but not essential

Accountabilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring the Asset Management Plan delivers relevant Replacement and Capital Expenditure network measures, across Ofgem & HSE regulation targets
  • Manage regulatory outputs associated with asset investment decisions
  • Delivery of associate project designs, in order to discharge the network investment strategies
  • Drive planning and delivery of in-year outputs, objectives and service levels
  • Accountable for the timely and accurate reporting of Capex and Repex measures
  • Collaborate with the Network Leadership to ensure alignment of strategic objectives and Investment Business Plans
