Salary Details: SCP014 – SCP018 - £19,655 to £21,958

As part of our plan to further develop our student experience we are appointing a new exciting role with responsibilities for developing students understanding of their own interests, aspirations, and talents and how this relates to them becoming future ready .You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to develop this knowledge and understanding to secure positive outcomes for students You will work with an established and successful team to develop these skills, broadening students’ experiences and world views so that they are future ready in the areas of employability, health, relationships and housing.

This is an exciting time for the Directions Programme (SEND). We are a growing provision with a wide range of students engaging in a broad, balanced, and exciting curriculum. We are a specialist team who secure excellent outcomes for our students .Our facilities are specialised to meet the needs of our students including the planned development of a new high tech independent living skills space, employability hub , work placement café and sensory garden centre .In addition, following significant recent investment in resources ,we now have a £3 million pound investment for Sep 2022 in a new cutting-edge immersive environment for curriculum delivery, which will include a 360 degree immersive visualisation ‘dome’ to allow our students to experience virtual reality environments.

This post holder will work closely with curriculum teachers and support staff to ensure that our students have outstanding learning opportunities and are future ready in relation to the Pathways for Adulthood themes .This is an ideal opportunity for those who have worked in a wide range of sectors and have the knowledge, experience and practical skills that can support students with individual and group led activities, to ensure they develop the skills and confidence required for their goals.
