Professor in Accounting

The University of Bristol School of Accounting and Finance is seeking to appoint a full Professor in Accounting. We are seeking candidates who are able to deliver world-class research and teaching and to contribute to the academic leadership of the School.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of publishing consistently in internationally leading accounting journals. They will have experience of seeking research funding and be able to demonstrate the impact of their research beyond the academic community. We expect the successful candidate to demonstrate excellence in delivery of high-quality teaching and programme development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They will be experienced in supervising post-graduate (MSc and PhD) research students and in mentoring academic staff. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated leadership skills and roles in their institutions and/or in the wider academic community.
