Our teams are growing across our 2 sites in London, and Nuneaton We are looking for a Production Trainer to join our newly established factory in Nuneaton, a key driver in supporting our teams to make our delicious snacks.

We are looking for two Production trainers, one working 6am - 2.30pm and one working 1.30pm - 10pm (Monday - Friday)

The Role Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering production training for all employees.
  • Maintaining accurate training records in line with both statutory and regulatory bodies.
  • Creating improving and maintaining the training matrix, ensuring that there is adequate coverage across the shift.
  • Support the scheduling and delivery of regular training requirements including process training and competency assessments.
  • Assist in designing training materials & courses to the needs of all production employees.
  • Complete training needs analysis to identify requirements and audit the progress of relevant trainees in the workplace.
  • Ensuring all training activities comply and actively promote the company’s quality standards, HSE requirements, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
  • Collaborate and work with internal stakeholders to schedule activities, events, and promote com or Six Sigma cations initiatives throughout the workplace.
  • Participate and contribute to the future development within the role and to further the desired goals of the organisation.
  • Delivery of the factory induction.
  • Assisting in the development of SOP’s and ensure the training program is delivered in accordance with these.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • A Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food manufacturing is essential.
  • Possesses a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to be robust with technical and quality matters.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Train the trainer qualification
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma continuous improvement tools.
  • Working knowledge of the health and safety at work act.
