Do you enjoy leading a team and are you looking for a growing company where you can really make a difference?

At by Molly&Izzie we love to combine modern styling with quirky and sentimental messages on all of our jewellery and gifts. We handmake or hand finish all of our products and are now looking for someone to lead our friendly team in our expanding studio to help scale our company and ensure that orders get out of the door in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be skilled, reliable, dedicated, enthusiastic, confident, positive and happy to get involved in a wide range of tasks when needed.

Leading a team is about understanding your people and getting the best out of them, and that’s what you’ll be doing with a team of up to 10. You will be trusted to take ownership of situations, solve problems and make decisions, while always being supported in doing so.

You’ll be managing the production schedules, working with targets, motivating the team and keeping on top of progress and activity throughout the working week.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced team leader with a proven track record of their ability to motivate a team to meet and exceed deadlines and targets. This role is based on a full time, permanent contract and the successful candidate should be available to start within 4 weeks.

Qualifications/Experience

- 12 months experience of people management is essential

- 12 months experience of working in a production environment is desirable

Skills

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Excellent communication skills at all levels

- Good IT skills (including Word, Excel and preferably Photoshop)

- Good level of literacy and numeracy

- Ability to work to tight deadlines

Qualities

- Ability to lead and motivate a team

- A team player

- Methodical approach to work

- Ability to deal with a diverse range of people and situations

- Ability to challenge targets and a desire to exceed targets.

Overtime may be necessary at busy times. You must also be available to work weekends when required, as much notice as possible will be given. Flexibility and willingness to work overtime are key elements for this role.
