Mpeople have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Production Support person to join a well-established company based in the Hyde area. My client is looking for someone to join their expanding team on a full time, permanent basis.

Successful candidates will be subjected to 3 years employment referencing and a DBS check.

  • Role: Production Support
  • Location:Hyde
  • Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
  • Hours:Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Duties as Production Support will include but not be limited to:

· Material handling and movement throughout site.

· Recycling of materials

· Tool handing, incorporate health checks and cleaning

· Stores and packing duties

· Workshop 5s and organisation support

· Ad hoc/back up driving duties

· Support manufacturing and quality team

· Basic production tasks

· General housekeeping

· Operating MRP/Scheduling systems

· Use of SAP and Microsoft packages

The successful Production Support Person will possess the following skills:

· An understanding of sheet metal/welding/fabrication techniques

· Ability to deal with heavy lifting

· Knowledge of the aerospace industry would be advantageous

· Full clean driving license would be ideal

· Experience using an MRP/Scheduling system

· Experience using SAP and Microsoft packages

Candidates with experience within a good strong work history within an Engineering, Production, Manufacturing or Labouring environment will be considered for this role.
