Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this is a key interface role between Internal Customers and planners. The growth of the business and the complexity of the planning task makes this an ideal opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic Planner to develop rapidly and really make a mark on the organisation.



Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule manufacturing orders within value stream.
  • Build weekly production schedules for value stream.
  • Issue manufacturing specifications to production for scheduled orders.
  • Raise line stops and remakes.
  • Attend daily production review meetings.
  • Produce priority lists for additional focus to hit targets.
  • Receive requests for expedites and cancellations and determine appropriate action to meet customer needs.
  • Communicate with material planners to ensure material flow is in place.
  • Communicate with TESOG planners to provide updates needed for customers.
  • Support engineering to schedule trials.
  • Work to weekly/monthly KPI’s required.


Qualifications
Minimum secondary level education to A level



Key Requirements
  • You will be very customer focused.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience of working in a fast moving, intense production environment is desirable.
  • First class prioritising skills in a rapidly changing conflicting demands environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential.
  • A team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to use your own initiative and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience working with IBM and working knowledge of Excel would be advantageous.
