Job Description

Business:At the very heart of the country’s largest animal oils and fats production facility you’ll find Nortech. With continuous 24/5 refining, production and packing processes the company delivers completely flexible and completely separate animal and vegetable based product ranges.

The Position

Applications are invited for a Production and Quality Coordinator based at our Nortech Ltd, Doncaster Site. This is a full time, permanent position, working office hours Monday to Friday.

Being part of a small team, you will be involved in the day to day running of the Company and will be integral in helping to drive the business forward.

As a Production and Quality Coordinator, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Factory requirements but will include:
  • Maintaining the day to day Production & Quality records, including stock counts, training records and mandatory health surveillance records.
  • Providing support to the Nortech Quality department as required.
  • To collect and administer the production and quality paperwork.
  • Assisting with Quality audits.
  • Producing relevant reports and information as required by management.
  • Providing relevant information in a timely manner during product traces.
  • Any other ad hoc projects/duties.
Requirements
  • You must be a motivated and committed individual, able to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety legislation in the workplace.
  • Understanding of audit requirements in relation to quality.
  • Experience of working within an operations environment.
  • Experience of working within a FMCG or other manufacturing organisation.
  • Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Be computer literate.
  • You must have an eye for detail.
  • Be a confident communicator.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Flexibility in respect of working hours, during periods of annual leave within the team and when business needs require this i.e. when audits are being completed.
  • You should be an experienced administrator and be able to prioritise workloads.
