We are a fast paced technology company that works on the cutting edge of semiconductor robotics and automation solutions. We continue to push the capabilities of robotics inside of semiconductor fabs.

We are looking for a Production Plannerto assist with planning , scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials. This will include responsibility for inventory levels, capacity planning, and on-time shipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews Oracle MRP and similar applications multiple times weekly per area to assure timely responsiveness to changes in demand (Customer bookings, safety stock builds, and Master Production Scheduled material fulfillment needs) that trigger updated production planning.

  • Attends and manages SIOP and R&O meetings for individual product line(s).

  • Creates and releases Production Orders in support of above, with keen awareness to needed completion dates, component and capacity availability, and any other resource issues needed to support on-time delivery to internal and external customers.

  • Researches and analyzes root causes of late deliveries in support of corrective actions needed to drive delivery improvement. Performs similar actions proactively for future demand.

  • Supports the ongoing Quality Management by insuring all applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions are in compliance.

  • Reviews inventory levels in areas of responsibility to minimize inventory while assuring adequate component and finished goods stock to support corporate delivery and financial goals. Take actions needed to avoid slow and excess inventory.

  • Monitors, applies judgment and reacts to inventory, backorder and service levels of purchased raw and manufactured finished goods to achieve customer service and business objectives.

  • Based on Re-order points or customers’ orders, schedules production orders while optimizing manufacturing sequence.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
