Responsibilities

Your core duties and responsibilities will be as follows plus any other work that your Line Manager may deem relevant to your job

General Site H&S/Housekeeping & Maintenance
  • Working in line with all relevant company Safe Operating Procedures and Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Production
  • Scheduling of mixes according to SAP orders received from sales & existing stock levels.
  • Process and confirms orders daily.
  • Liaise with sales daily to ensure all orders have been received, availability of stock etc.
  • Liaise with external warehouse to control external packaged Raw Material and Semi Finished product levels
  • Take an active part in the preparation and execution of Internal Stock takes
  • Checking and collating delivery note information daily and arranging timely deliveries via a third party haulier.
  • Report expected delivery promises and problems to Plant Manger
  • Entering delivery notes onto computer daily.
  • Stock control of raw materials and finished goods using MRP and PRP routines.
  • Raw material ordering
  • Stock control of all factory consumables.
  • Returned goods administration
  • Create and maintain Monthly Plan and weekly Schedule and communicate appropriately
  • Produce monthly production order variance calculation
  • Administration upkeep of production office including filing of paperwork and dealing with visitors
  • Taking on additional and new responsibilities as the department develops
  • To provide cover and support for colleagues where demand necessitates and time allows.
  • Participation and contribution to the S&OP process
  • Provide cover for the Production Manager during any periods of absence.
Skills, Experience And Education

The candidate is expected to meet the following criteria required to perform the role:
  • Some knowledge of factory machines and processes
  • Working Knowledge of SAP
  • Understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental Issues
  • Ability to work on own initiative to required standards
  • Numerate and literate
  • Ability to follow instructions
