GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a globally successful and highly recognisable manufacturer located in Worcestershire. We are recruiting on their behalf for a Production Planner to join their team on a full time, permanent contract. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to progress their career within Production Planning and scheduling.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:15pm offering a salary of £26-30K which is demonstrable with previous and relevant experience.

The Production Planner will work closely with the Supervisors, Operations Manager, MED and the materials planners.

Attitude and enthusiasm are a key factor for this role as you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary delivery team on projects ranging in scale and complexity.

To be considered for this great opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a production or scheduling led role within a manufacturing environment.

Production Planner main duties:

  • Create and maintain production schedule on daily / weekly basis.
  • Pulling route plans together
  • Generating reports for management

Production Planner essential requirements

  • Background in Manufacturing production or scheduling
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of ERP systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good planning and coordinating skills
  • Experience communicating with suppliers
  • Experience in procurement/buying
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to meet deadlines.
