We currently have a permanent vacancy for a Process Operator working at our Redditch manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the Operations team - carrying out blending, packing and warehousing duties. The role will require an enthusiastic approach, always working in a professional and safe manner.

Working hours will be based on a 40 hour week to include shifts, nights and weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is 06:00-14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all process and operational activities associated with batch manufacture are carried out in compliance to the sites Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements
  • To manufacture products according to details and instructions stated on the formulation batch sheet and specification.
  • To make accurate additions or adjustments to the process when instructed by laboratory staff
  • To complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • FLT operator duties as required
  • Maintain workplace to a good housekeeping standard
  • Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Directors and Management of the Company.

We’re looking for:

Essential:

  • Ability to follow manufacturing instructions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A desire to work with team members to improve efficiency and product quality
  • Strong positive attitude towards working as part of a team
  • ‘Can-do’ flexible approach to working

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a chemical / process type industry
  • Understanding of blending processes and equipment
  • Good understanding of automated packing machines
  • Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck licence
