We have multiple opportunities for Production Operatives to join our Safety and Productivity Solutions business that provides comprehensive solutions that enhance workplace safety and incident response, improve enterprise and workflow performance and enable greater product design innovation. Customers rely on Honeywell’s connected solutions to provide real-time safety intelligence, increase worker productivity and enrich operational intelligence with data-driven insights that enable smarter business decisions. Honeywell SPS serves customers in aerospace, automotive, commercial building, first responder, field service, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, oil & gas, power an utilities, medical, retail, supply chain, test & measurement and transportation markets, this role will be working with our manufacturing team in Portsmouth.

Production Operative:

• 
  Adhere to, and ensure others adhere to, Health and Safety rules and requirements. Operate in a safe manner.
• Complete daily safety checks, report and where appropriate correct incidents of unsafe behaviors and conditions.
• Produce products to the defined quality standard, consistently operating the process as defined in specifications.
• Complete and adhere to CTQ and FAI process controls on time.
• Strive for and promote attainment of 100% OTTR (On Time To Request).
• Produce products at the defined rate (productivity).
  Contribute to the efficient running of the Cell. Show initiative and drive to achieve the Cell targets, and demonstrate where necessary the flexibility to adapt to changing Customer needs. Work with the Supervisor and Team Leader(s) to achieve these goals in the most effective manner. Perform, where appropriate, and with the correct authorization, administrative duties on the Cell.
• When qualified and requested conduct training of other operators.
• Generate, promote and implement ideas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• You will have experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Basic PC skills
• Fluency in both written, and speaking English
• You have strong manual dexterity
• Understand who is your customer and the concept that the customer comes first.
• It is essential you are able to work both day, and night shifts
