Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for additional Production Operativesto join our manufacturing teams based in Hinckley (Nutts Lane and Harrowbrook Industrial Estate). Working full time, 37.5 hours per week, the role will see you working predominately Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. We have vacancies on our day shift, 08:00 to 16:00, and our late shift, 16:00 to 00:00.

No prior experience is necessary to join Hammonds as a Production Operative, as full training will be provided to the successful applicant. However prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment would be advantageous.

As a Hammonds Production Operative, you will be expected to perform the following duties:
  • Assembly of furniture components
  • Operating machinery
  • Undertake relevant training
  • Adhere to Health and Safety rules and procedures
  • Packaging and loading cages
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards

Starting pay is £8.94 for our Production Operatives,with opportunities for this to increase as you gain additional skills through training.
