Production Assistant

£20,319 p/a, Burgess Hill, Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.15pm, Friday 4pm finish, 20 days holiday plus bank holiday, Company Pension, Free Parking, PPE provided, Uniform provided after 1 month.

The Role

We are delighted to be working with a successful manufacturing company based in Burgess Hill, who are searching for a Production Assistant to join their busy team. The main purpose of the role is to work as part of a team to ensure the overall smooth and efficient production of goods. This role would suit someone with previous production line, factory or warehousing experience. Duties include:

Measuring and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery
Assembling/filling goods on production line
Storing or moving goods and raw materials in the factory or warehouse
Setting up label application equipment
Packing goods ready for shipment
Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery

The Requirements

This is a busy and physical role so the successful candidate will need to be able to stand for long periods of the say and safely lift weights of up to 25kgs. You will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn within the role. You must have good attention to detail and strong initiative.
