Recra are working in partnership with an established fabrication/sheet metal company that manufactures a broad range of products and they specialise in all aspects of welding and fabrications. Our client are looking to add a Production Operative to their team in Coventry.

Duties:
  • Delivering to Customers
  • Driving a fork lift truck
  • Site work/installations at customer’s premises
  • Drilling
  • Folding steel
  • Using a guillotine
  • Cutting material on band saws
  • Assembly work
  • Presswork
  • Assisting laser cutting operations
  • Upkeep of shop floor ensuring areas are tidy and safe
  • This position also involves general maintenance of the factory, general labouring and assisting steel fabricators on site, fitting jobs.
  • Operating a laser cutter

Requirements:
  • Good communication skills
  • Clean driving licence and counter balance fork lift licence are all essential.
  • Experience in an Industrial Engineering environment would be advantageous.

  • 7:15am till 4:30pm Monday - Thursday
