Salary: Starting at £21,736 and rising to £25,168 per annum.

Pay range £9.50 - £11.00

Shift Pattern: 4 days out of 7

Full-Time: 44 hrs Per Week

Please Note: Working days could be anytime between Sunday-Friday. Shifts are 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am rotating, 7am- 7pm and 7pm -7am rotating and 8am-6pm and 8pm- 6am rotating. This is shift work so applicants must be 18+.

Rate of pay – Starting at £9.50 per hour, then £9.70 after 4 weeks with opportunities to advance through the grading system.

The interview will include a tour of the factory so please do not wear shorts, sandals, false eyelashes or any jewelry that cannot be removed. Please wear socks to the interview as safety shoes will be provided but socks will be required to wear them.

We currently produce a range of quality frozen ’bake off’ and craft bakery products at our Workington bakery and we are looking for energetic and friendly people to join our baking family.

We operate with a 13-week probation with a view to making successful candidates permanent members of the team.

About The Role

We need enthusiastic, hardworking people to join our fast-growing team based in Workington, Cumbria.

Your main tasks will be to ensure products are produced and packed in an efficient and timely manner, to the highest possible quality standards, working to our customer specifications.

Responsibilities & Requirements

This role can be quite physical at times as you will be required to do the following:

Moving/Lifting Tubs of dough/Ingredients/oven racks

Loading/Unloading trays into Oven racks

Loading/Unloading production/oven conveyors

Picking/Packing finished products, into baskets/boxes

Manual Handling

Clean as you go

This position is a standing role

Please note: Candidates Must be 18 years old or over.

The role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands-on varied role, previous Food Industry experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
