Purpose

Maintaining an efficient and safe running batching operation that enables the preparation of raw materials to produce finished products whilst ensuring compliance to operating procedures. The maintaining of product quality and operational KPIs will be an important factor for the successful candidate to follow. We operate a continental shift pattern of 4 on/4 off with 12-hour shifts, night work is included. The role is subject to medical screenings with periodic review.

Responsibilities

  • Working in various raw material batching areas to create compliant grouping of raw materials for production of finished products
  • Competently and timely complete all necessary quality checks and documentations with supporting narrative of on-shift activities
  • Remain compliant within company and industry frameworks and operative procedures
  • Ensuring batching processes and activities are conducted so quality, efficiency and safety are maximised
  • Support continuous improvement to quality and suggest methods of removing non-value-added activities
  • Adopt a first-time quality approach to your work, striving for high quality
  • Work dynamically as a team to ensure tasks and resources are distributed and completed in a timely manner with support from the internal systems
  • Take a proactive approach to working with Shift Management to ensure changes in batching requirements are communicated effectively
  • Take proactive approach to escalate to team leaders any issues on stock variances discovered during the batching of raw materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Skills And Experience

  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Good level of numerical ability
  • Basic food hygiene
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of team
  • Computer literacy
