Recruiting a Production Manager who has strong leadership / management skills. The candidate will have an engineering / technical mind.

The company are looking for an individual who is able to learn technical aspects of their product and develop production, maintenance and management.

This role will have responsibility of 2 supervisors and 12 operators.

The company have recently relocated 2 sites into 1, so there is a new set up, with older machines, (new ones arriving in few weeks).

The role will involve implementing and improving production processes in a cost effective way.

Duties:

  • Manage production schedule for on-time completion
  • Take an active role in factory production planning
  • Identify and address key concerns that may alter or impact production schedule
  • Implement/Develop maintenance systems
  • Manage schedule for on-time delivery
  • Develop the production facilities and team
  • Understand the technical aspects of the products
  • Understand the Plastics industry and manufacturing processes
  • Full responsibility for Site/Team and implementation of all operations

Future Opportunities

  • Working with group companies in Europe on projects for “Close the loop” and development of green manufacturing.
  • The role will report ultimately to UK general manager, with assistance for as long as needed from the finance manager who is acting in temp capacity overseeing production. However, the responsibility is day to day management on own initiative.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
