Production Manager

London

We are currently hiring a Production Manager for a 12-month contract to join our team in London. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient production and distribution of physical and digital products in collaboration with BMG UK labels. Your role will be vital in ensuring accurate setup and timely delivery of our releases to our distribution partners.


What You’ll Be Doing.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for UK-based music labels, offering guidance on product setup and coordinating with distribution partners.
  • Prepare all elements required for digital and physical releases, ensuring smooth production processes.
  • Collaborate with content creators to maintain a streamlined and punctual supply chain, emphasizing timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Effectively manage change within the Supply Chain to minimize disruptions and optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain the BMG Release Schedule specific to the UK region.
  • Provide user support for Supply Chain Systems, serving as the go-to person for resolving queries.
  • Document essential distribution and supply chain information for future reference.


Who You Are.

  • Experience working in a Production or Supply Chain Department within a large-scale music company.
  • Possess experience working with digital product creation, including metadata and cover art.
  • Familiarity with online data standards and knowledge of digital retailer data requirements.
  • Understanding of online digital services and their operational dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport easily.
  • Proactive and self-starting approach to work, taking initiative when required.
  • A people person comfortable engaging with various stakeholders across the business.
  • Passionate about music and its industry.


It’s also a plus if you have...

  • Understanding of Physical Manufacturing and Distribution within the music industry.
