Are you an experienced Production Manager with a Production Line and Engineering background?

Looking for a new and exciting opportunity, to develop both a production site and your own career? Go Perm is looking for an experienced Production Manager on a Full-Time Permanent basis, to join a well-established and growing business in Barwell, Leicestershire.

You will champion continuous improvement across the production area, working with your team, the warehouse manager, and other key stakeholders throughout the business. Additionally, you’ll support and implement any projects planned and actioned.
  • Position: Production Manager
  • Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (40 hours per week)

The role of the Production Manager is to oversee the assembly facility. Providing leadership and management control ensuring that performance is in line with business targets including employee safety, schedule adherence, product quality and costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly production targets are met in line with the planning schedules.
  • Strive to deliver excellent standards and service, assessing and reviewing current processes.
  • Maintain and manage financial budgeted targets relating to the production department.
  • Transfer knowledge and skills throughout the team.
  • Work closely with the production team to develop and improve processes, practices to improve efficiency.
  • Driving a continuous improvement culture across the organisation.
  • Showing the energy and enthusiasm to drive a motivated team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment for all employees.
About You, Key Skills & Experience
  • Production Manager experience in a factory environment, production line, or of equivalent.
  • Experience of working with Light Assembly and Machinery.
  • Experience managing a small team of people.
  • Motivated, can-do attitude - who is able to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality control across the production of all products.
