We are working in partnership with one of the UKs leading manufacturing companies, who are currently looking to expand their existing team.

These roles are suited to someone who has previous experience within the manufacturing industry. This is a genuine and excellent opportunity within a well established company.

Due to location own transport is essential - please do not apply if you don’t have your own transport.

KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience as a machine operator - having a manufacturing background would be advantageous, but not critical.
  • Experience of working in a factory environment.
  • Experience of using SAP systems is preferable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work in a safe manner and adhere to all known safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality at all times.
  • Operate equipment as trained, in a safe and efficient manner.

HOURS OF WORK AND PAY

  • Basic hours are based on a weekly rotation of Monday to Friday 6am-2pm, and Monday to Friday 1:30pm-9:30pm
  • 40 hours per week - Dayshift £11.55 p/h, Backshift £13.86 p/h this includes a 20% shift allowance
  • A flexible approach to extra hours is required due to the manufacturing process and at times you may be required to work weekends which will be paid at overtime rates.
