Job Title: Production Line ManagerLocation: North DevonSalary: Competitive + Shift Allowance +8% Bonus, discussed upon applicationJob Type: PermanentAcorn is recruiting for a Production Line Manager for a Manufacturing firm based in North Devon.We are looking for a people focused team manager, to mentor, coach, organise and train the team whilst meeting KPIs and adhering to company Health & Safety.Responsibilities Of The Production Line Manager
  • Supervise manufacturing operatives working across multiple production lines. Day to day tasks of the Production Line Manager setting to meet production goals whilst maintaining quality and Health and safety.
  • Provide consistent, high quality leadership to a small team of production staff, between 10-12.
  • Ensure delivery of all production goals in line with business operational plan
  • As a Production Line Manager you’ll be expected to mentor and coach staff to keep a motivated and happy team
  • Ensure all team members adhere to H&S regulations to keep a safe working environment
  • 3 x 12 hour shifts a week Monday-Wednesday 0700am-1900pm for 4 weeks rotating to Thursday-Saturday 0700am-1900pm for 4 weeks
Required Skills Of The Production Line Manager
  • Ideally hold a supervisory qualification or equivalent
  • A successful track record of leadership within manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of process equipment, CGMP and H&S regulations including COSHH
  • Strong results orientation with proven organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ideally experience of lean Sigma/continuous improvement
