This senior Production Managers job will start as a Production Director Designate and develop into a Production Director job role. About this senior Signage Production Managers job

This senior Signage Production Managers job will initial start as a Production Director Designate, and is part of the senior management team.

Once established in the role, and the transition of the incumbent Directors passes over to the future senior leaders, the opportunity to become an executive director, with shares in the business, will be given as you move up to become the Production Director.

The key objective of this senior signage Production Managers job function is the overall management of the sign companies production department. Given the size of the business this includes, the Production Manager, the team of Production Coordinators and shop-floor staff. In total c. 35 staff / reports.

This sign industry Production Managers job responsibilities include

  • Providing strong technical support to the business, including materials, specifications & innovative production methods
  • Complete management of the production department & team
  • Selection & Management of Sub-Contractors / external manufacturing partners
  • Production planning & scheduling
  • Coordinating appropriate resource, overtime etc as & when required
  • Ensuring production efficiencies & commercial results
  • Motivation, management & mentoring of the production team
