Contek are working with a client in Yate who are sub-contract manufacturers to various clients in various markets including Medical, F1, Space travel and deep see drilling. They are looking for an experienced Production Co-ordinator/Planner to join the team on a permanent basis. Mon-Thurs 7:00am-4:00pm, Fri 7:00am-12:00pm (Flexitime) Role: You will have to talk to customers daily and form good relationships with them. As this role will require a lot of in house training to learn their systems. You will be an integral part of the day to day running of the company and will only report to the General Manager of the business. Specifically, your responsibilities will be to:- Oversee all aspects of production using bespoke manufacturing software and Microsoft projects amongst other forms of computer technology and applications.
  • Promote effective lines of communication with both customers and suppliers, through face to face meetings, telephone conversations and electronic form such as emails and MRP/SAP systems.
  • Liaising with numerous sub-contractors from varying fields of expertise regarding product tendering, costs and delivery schedules.
  • Administer robust stock management programmes, using communication experiences to source and maintain efficient and intricate traceability processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Quality Manager to ensure quality systems and procedures are adhered to from both an administrative and practical point of view
