Described as ’one of the friendliest places I have ever worked’, we design, build and manufacture commissions from one-off concept cars to low volume production road cars. We are often the hidden talent behind projects with well-known automotive brands, which have featured at prestigious events around the world, both on track and road alongside our very own RML Short Wheelbase.

With so many exciting projects on the go, we are looking to expand our team and have a vacancy for a Production Control Co-ordinator to make sure we are on track with our vehicle builds. Each day you will liaise with teams across the business to identify risks and help resolve any blockages. The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Active part in production meetings; providing blockage detail, resolution and consequences.
  • Liaising between departments for internal parts flow expediting.
  • Managing risks and planning positive changes.
  • Providing regular status reports and updates on progress against plan.
  • Developing and improving internal procedures for this function within the business.
  • Supporting the Production Engineer with efficiency improvement activities.

Through this role you will gain a good understanding of vehicle build methods and the sequence of parts fitment. In terms of experience, we need you to have:

  • Specialised knowledge of a function, trade or craft acquired through advanced formal training. BTEC National Certificate/ONC level or ’A’ Levels or Scottish Highers in job-related discipline may be included. Training to City & Guilds level 3.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive processes and components.
  • Ability to use a Bill of Materials.
  • MRP system experience.
