Production Operator - Marlborough

We are seeking a Production Operator to join us at our Marlborough Winery in our Cask Line team. Reporting to the Production and Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the operation of the Cask line equipment in a fast-paced precision environment, as well as ensuring that all machinery is maintained and kept clean to a high standard. The role will also include the regular operation of forklifts to move delicate finished goods and packaging around the department. This is a fulltime permanent role, working Monday to Friday.

To be successful you will need a can-do attitude, enthusiasm, to be hard working and have the ability to thrive in a continuous improvement environment with a safety focus. Due to the technical nature of some of the processing operations, you will need to be comfortable working with semi-automated equipment and have problem-solving skills.

Skills And Experience Required To Undertake This Role Include
  • Physically fit for an active role
  • Experience in a beverage production/operations role preferred but not essential
Experience in forklift operation in a warehouse environment preferred but not essential
  • Good literacy/mathematic skills and basic IT skills
  • Ability to relate well to other staff and an ability to work as part of a team
  • To embrace company values, and health and safety focus
  • Someone enthusiastic and motivated
  • To be honest, reliable and organised
  • Someone who sets high standards with a strong work ethic
Training will be provided as required to upskill into this role.
