About us:

Steve Vick International was founded in 1981 by the current chairman, Steve Vick, who saw an opportunity to develop ways of safely sealing off gas mains and services using expanding foam technology under ‘no gas’ conditions.

Since its foundation the company has been at the forefront in developing and manufacturing products and techniques for the trenchless repair, renovation and decommissioning of pipes.

Today, the company manufactures, a vast array of products and equipment, from digital pressure measuring equipment to coiled pipe distribution systems.

We are looking for a highly skilled Production and Calibration Technician to join our team and maintain our company’s standards. This person will be responsible for assembling and calibrating pressure measurement equipment, ensuring that all equipment meets our rigid standards and producing monthly status reports.

This position requires the successful candidate to have good understanding of calibration techniques and to be comfortable working to deadlines. To succeed in this role, the candidate must take pride in their own work and that of the team. The right individual will also be highly proficient in the use of lab equipment and able to maintain a professional attitude while working with a team.

There are two main components to this exciting new role. Your time will be divided between manufacturing and calibrating pressure test equipment. It is essential that you are confident using computer systems and modern technology.

You will be responsible for the manufacture of new equipment and the service and repair of equipment returned from the field. This skilled work requires ESD protection and a sympathy for handling electronic components in a clean environment.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the calibration rig. Ensuring that process is followed carefully and reliably.
