Description

Role: Production Administrator

Location: Cumbernauld

Reporting to: Technical Manager

Salary: £25,000-£28,000

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, Onsite


Who are we looking for?

Do you thrive working in a production administration environment?

Do you have good knowledge and experience using Excel?

Can you drive a project from beginning to end?

What will you be doing?

You will be working within a manufacturing environment supporting the new product development team ensuring that all documents are accurate in time for product launch. You will play a key role in ensuring the designated critical path stages between concept handover and product launches are achieved.

  • Maintain accurate records of production orders, schedules, and related documents
  • Collaborate with various departments, including production, sales and quality control, to ensure orders are accurately and timely fulfilled to specifications
  • Accurately transfer data from technical specification lists ensuring a high level of accuracy
  • Assist in quality control efforts by verifying product specifications and conducting quality checks as needed.
  • Generate production reports and performance metrics as required by management.
  • Check artwork and packaging against agreed pack copy, legal/company requirements and ingredient specifications ensuring any non-compliance is reported and followed up and closed out.
  • Create implement and maintain departmental database systems
  • Maintain up-to-date raw material and packaging specifications
  • Completion of internal audits
  • To become familiar with current factory processes to ensure specifications reflect the most up to date site processes and procedures.

About You

  • Excellent IT skills particularly Excel Confident and articulate
  • Able to communicate well with members of staff at all levels
  • Good presentation skills
  • Organised and methodical.
  • Enjoys a challenge and can deliver under pressure
  • Able to work on their own initiative
