A Senior Leadership role has arisen to join the Business Banking product team within Everyday Banking. It’s a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing opportunities to shape and deliver some of the most strategic priorities of the Bank, so it’s a great time to join and make a difference.

This position has responsibility to shape the long-term strategy for the function.

This is an exciting Transformation & Change journey, with potential to unlock some significant opportunities which will change the way we do business.

The difference you’ll make.

  • Developing, proposing and implementing of product and pricing, ensuring regulatory compliance and executing robust risk identification, reporting and management.

  • Driving customer growth and digital adoption. Leading pricing proposals to help deliver commercial objectives.

  • Driving key initiatives through to delivery, facilitating working groups, preparing reports, and presenting to senior management and meetings, as appropriate.

  • Significant collaboration with stakeholders across the bank, agreeing clear ownership of actions and tracking through to completion.

  • Identifying and managing risk across the function as appropriate. Ability to translate commercial, market and customer analysis / research into insight and business cases that are clear and compelling.

What you’ll bring.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence others across multiple functions / 3rd parties / industry bodies.

  • Proven experience in delivering big projects, successfully producing and presenting effective recommendations to senior stakeholders.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to use a range of approaches to achieve deliverables.

  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.

  • Product experience with knowledge from more than one product set.

  • Ability to make recommendations for process improvement.

This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.

How we’ll reward you.

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For part-time / contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your working hours / contract duration.

  • Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus

  • We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.

  • 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year

  • £6,000 car allowance per year (remove for SLB roles)
