Job Description

The role

Experian’s Business Information Financial Crime & Fraud Product Domain are looking for an experienced Product Owner with solid understanding of Financial Crime Compliance and experience working with software and data products.

As a Product Owner you will join a team leading the rollout of new B2B Financial Crime and Fraud products in the UK. You will be driving the design and development of a new Software as a Service product and the supporting data services. You will be responsible for quality and speed of execution of the product team roadmaps, working with internal stakeholders to support new product launches and expansion plans, engaging with clients, and prospective clients, on a regular basis to understand their needs and to present our approach.

What you’ll do
  • Collaborating with our Product Team to create and deliver the feature roadmap
  • Co-ordinate and execute market research building deep understanding of market problems / needs
  • Working with our product development teams to deliver the product vision for our Financial Crime and Fraud products
  • Finding creative and innovative ways to deliver iterative user value, aligned to our strategic goals
  • Planning increments of work with stretching shared objectives
  • Leading the team in the refinement of new work; creating solutions to our users’ problems
  • Prioritising the sprint backlog, balancing the demands of the business, user experience and tech
  • Championing continued incremental improvement to our product
  • Sign-off of all product features as ready for release
  • Triage and managing of all bugs and issues in the delivery process
  • Managing and reporting the impact of product releases
  • Owning the delivery of product features
  • Co-ordinate on the delivery of market and client facing documents supporting product releases and sales activity
  • Collaborate across internal teams to identify dependencies, requirements and approvals
Qualifications

Who you are

A professional familiar with the agile methodology and the Product Owner role with:
  • An understanding of Financial Crime Compliance, particularly Know Your Customer / Know your Business requirements
  • Experience in Product Management/Owner, Business Analyst, or equivalent business roles
  • Experience in taking new product ideas through ideation, to test & learn through to scaled products
  • A good understanding of how client insight should influence the development and innovation process
  • Proven track record of effective delivery in a fast-paced organisation
  • Analytical knowledge and ‘know how’ to use data to influence decisions
  • Strong communication skills and innovative mindset
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Resourceful creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience of delivering Software, Data and API products is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience with commercial financial services is an advantage
