This is an exciting opportunity to help build our mobile app and new websites from scratch and we are just at the start of our journey! We are in the process of figuring what our digital products will look like, so this is an interesting opportunity to shape ideas around this, within this exciting transitioning period. This role will involve researching new technologies and benchmarking market trends to make sure the app is a success for us in line with our product vision.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Global Product Owner, you will be part of our digital team, you will join a geographically diversified team and having a real impact on the future of the Juice Plus services globally. At Juice Plus we create Premium Digital services for our customers to help them achieve their ultimate health and wellness goal.

As Product Owner for customer journey, you will be supporting the Global Product Owner in planning and developing product vision & strategy for new websites & Mobile apps:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive product strategy, providing vision and direction to the Scrum team and stakeholders throughout the product development journey. Advise on what will be built and the timeframes around this.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and features to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value/cost ratio that are aligned with product vision and Juice Plus + strategy
  • Translate business goals into product requirements and turn initiatives/requests into epics/ high-quality user stories to achieve a successful outcome.
  • Work with User Science and Testing tools to extract high value insights that influence the product direction
  • Be mindful of Juice Plus + Customers and Partners and ensure that the customer experience has been carefully considered
  • Work closely with the rest of the Digital Team to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value. Help prioritise and manage the backlog effectively and contribute to the mobile app roadmap and deliver this by partnering with IT.
  • Be a trusted partner to business stakeholders and Scrum Teams; negotiating efficiently to reach high quality results whilst maintaining positive relationships
  • The role will involve working closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization (from Sales, Marketing and IT) and you will be proactively communicating clear, concise tailored messages about the product on a daily basis
  • Support an environment where everyone in the business feels they are able to contribute ideas and give feedback on our digital products
  • Show thought leadership in Scrum / Agile to further develop in-house capabilities and best practice and be able to positively challenge any outdated ways of thinking.
  • Defining epic plans driven by business value and priorities
  • Attend Daily Tech “stand ups” with the developers, product manager and delivery manager to discuss any potential challenges within the business
  • Work closely with the UX/UI team to drive requirements through the initial design phase

Qualifications/Experience 

  • Circa 3-5 years’ experience as a product owner working with Scrum and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Proven track record of prioritising and making data-driven decisions on requirements and deliverables in a rapidly changing environment where the best outcome is achieved
  • A strong user Experience background would be desirable, being highly knowledgeable on how mobile devices are used in different contexts and how unique capabilities of applications compare to other platforms.
  • JIRA/Product Board experience is essential.
  • Experience navigating various tools would be useful. Some which we use include Hotjar and Adobe Analytics to drive business goals
  • Educated to Bachelor degree level, or equivalent, in any course equivalent or similar to product management /Computer Science/ any Scrum master qualifications would be beneficial
  • Experience working in a matrix environment, preferably in an e-commerce or digital led organisation
  • Be able to form close working relationships with our internal as well as technical development teams
  • EMEA/international experience would be highly beneficial, as our Digital team works across global initiatives
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail. As part of this role, it will be important to thrive against daily challenges in a fast-paced environment and work towards various changing business priorities.
