The Technical Product Owner will be the outcome owner, focused on ensuring the IT platforms deliver both business and customer value. You will be accountable for the platform lifecycle, including design, delivery and operations. You will be empowered to make decisions and negotiate priority, scope and requirements with impacted stakeholders. Each product owner will be responsible for one of the following platform work streams;
  • Web
  • Call Centre as a Service
  • Industry and Regulation
  • Infrastructure and Integration
Key Responsibilities For This Role Will Include
  • Defining the vision of the product & platform in collaboration with key stakeholders and socialise with the team.
  • Evolving the platform roadmap based on customer, product team, IT and business feedback, linked to business outcomes, IT strategy, -and platform performance.
  • Acting as primary liaison for business product managers and maintain business engagement to educate on the product’s growth, strategic value and investment case.
  • Supports business leaders and stakeholders in preparation for implementation and change management in product rollout & enhancements.
  • Determine developments to the strategic roadmap based on business strategy changes.
  • Ensure that IT/business strategy, policy and standards are adhered to, thus achieving commonality and ease of maintenance.
  • Actively partake in Scrum ceremonies and be the single point of communication between the team and the business, providing direction to the team and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, we would love you to have:
  • Proven experience of working as a Product Owner within IT/Technical role in a mature agile team.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical product requirements / User Stories based on input gathered from a variety of sources.
  • Ability to negotiate requirements, timelines and other delivery metrics across product lifecycle.
  • Ability to translate business strategy and requirements in technology context.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with an understanding and working experience of agile process and principles.
  • Previous experience in scaling knowledge, as well as a willingness to promote Agile delivery framework.
